It is said that there is always a good purpose in everything. Certainly, it is because of the faith in this statement that made the problem not a problem. Nobody could ever change into someone without something to move him. This is why somebody turns into the unrecognized evil person or the unrecognized negligent person of himself after a tragedy.
Why we can’t avoid problems
Problems are real problems. They are difficult, harsh, painful, humiliating, inconsiderate and all other strings of negative things that you can name. Nobody wants a problem. However, it is the only problem that can make a person grow. It is only when a problem occurs that a person can receive blessings. It is only with the unbearable pain of problems that a person becomes stronger and more courageous. It is the only inconsiderate problem that a person relies on God, hopes in Him, and worships Him rightly. It is only with the presence of a problem that God’s glory, mighty power, perfection, love, generosity and all things about Him can manifest. It is because, when the problem is present, most people draw closer and closer to God and so they become more susceptible to feel His presence. God’s presence is in all things at all times. But we could not feel it because we do not feel the need to do so.
The answer to our problems
Romans 9:33, “As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame.” The rock here could be the problem. But this rock could also be God’s instrument, Jesus, to reveal His great love for us. Even with the devastating result of stumbling or falling upon this rock, you would never have felt shame. Instead, you would proclaim and boast even more how God has worked in your life and has demonstrated His love and faithfulness upon your relationship with Him. You glorified the Lord even more. He becomes even more irresistible. And problems become even more welcome than before.
With series of experiences with problems, you have learned to look forward to the blessing that you can get afterward. Yes, you hoped for the blessings instead of you fearing for your loses. Once again, when you believe in God, even when you stumble, you “will never be put to shame”. When you believe in God, you put your trust in Him that He will never let you go, never bring you down, never abandon you. God has a gift, a reward for you in the end after you endure in believing in Him successfully.
The aura of a problem-free, stress-free life
One great indication when you trust in the Lord is your overwhelming peace of mind. And this is very wonderful. Paired with courage and hard work, patience makes the gift behind every problem more likely attainable. Patience lets you think better, unobstructed and unbiased by personal emotions or fears. Patience also lets you maintain relationships with your loved ones whom you would have wanted to stay with after the storm in your life. Patience gives you wisdom, discerning which among the things that are present to you should you give up so that you’ll be filled with more blessings, or which among the things that you currently have should you retain, should you not take for granted. Patience gives you a clear mind to solve your problems while courage gives you the fuel to face your giants and hard work puts you into action to plant for something to be harvested after the long season of heavy rains.
God declares, “I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27).
